Blessings

I'm thankful for...
1. knowing the One true God Jehovah and having the privilege to serve Him
2. to belong to His world wide organization
3. to have three wonderful, beautiful children
4. that I have my real family and a family who raised me as their own
5. that I am gifted with a strong and healthy body
6. that I have a job
7. that me and my kids have a place to live
8. that we have enough food on the table
9. that I have lots of friends who are true
10. that I can accept my mistakes and apologize for them
11. that I am resilient
12. that I am able to forgive
13. that I am able to love without asking for something in return....

April 28, 2008

The day is almost ending for most people but it's just starting with mine.Actually I really don't know when my day starts...coming home from anotherwork and taking a nap for a few hours before going to another job...sighs.

I've just prepared the slides i'm going to use to teach Koreans english online. It's a pretty easy job (I've been doing for 8 months now) and fulfillingtoo. And now... I was told by my Team Leader to inform my students that Friday is going to be my last day. I'm feeling sad about leavingtoo but I have to give this up to give more time for more important things... and that is attending Christian meetings on weeknights, whichI have been missing because of my night job. I need to make these necessary changes in my life to get myself back on track... and making spiritual things the primary thing in my life. :)

April 27, 2008

Yup changes are happening soon. I'm excited. I have been praying to God about giving me a good paying job. I have been working two jobs for the past 8 months now, getting little sleep (3-4 hours of sleep , working 7 days a week) and it's taking a toll on my health now. Everyone thinks I've lost weight. And I'm getting sickly. I can't afford to get sick. I'm a single mom and my kids depend on me. Plus I haven't focused on my spirituality cos I've been too busy working my a** off. I've decided to give up my online tutoring job and that means losing thousands of pesos that helped me make ends meet for the past few months. And so I turned to Jah in prayers, promising Him that I would go back to pioneering once I get a good paying job to support my family. And so.... suddenly, the opportunity came last week. I got accepted in just half a day... imagine.. proving once more that Jah hears and answers prayers. I am so thankful! I will be keeping my promise to Him... besides, I miss serving Him, serving Him fulltime were the best years of my life and it would really be a joy to go back to that privilege.

"Cinese Cinderella"... simply inspirational

Chinese Cinderella
Current mood: touched
Category: Writing and Poetry

I just finished reading "Chinese Cinderella" an autobiography of Ms Adeline Yen Mah. She was an unwanted daughter, born to an affluent chinese family backdraft in the World War II. Her mother died shortly after she was born and because of this was refered to as the bad luck in the family. Her father remarried, to a chinese french woman who was very cruel who had mistreated the stepchildren.... yes the trypical Cinderella story...only the Father still exists but only caused her heartache as well by being indifferent, even forgetting her name and her birthdate. She was bullied by her brothers and big sister., to show contempt to her academic achievements that brought some kind of attention from her father which they all craved for..... but at times shows light moments as well. Love and support came from Ye Ye, her grandfather and Aunt Ba Ba who never failed to nurture her and encourage the lil child. Imagining a young Ms Adeline in first grade in a new school, left off school with no one to pick her up and had to find her way home. She was a nobody in her family. But what is remarkable is her stregnth of character. She had gotten over the cruelty and misfortunes in life, being sent from one boarding school to another... even ending up the top in class, skipping grades even winning an international literary contest which caused her freedom.

I thought it was a book solely for the youth... but had proved wrong. I loved it. It brought me to tears. At some point in our lives we may have felt unwanted in the family. Having been brought up as an adopted child, I had felt unwanted in a way. I wish I had read the book earlier in life. Here I saw the value of education and how it can really set a person free. How we easily blame other people for our predicaments .. though we have a choice to stand up and prove them wrong and rise over the adversities. An important thing I learned from Ms Adeline. Im sure ill be grabbing a copy of one of her bestselling books.. "Fallen Leaves" yet another autobiography.... I cant wait.

Why We Are The Best For Each Other

;; we got undeniable chemistry!!!! when we first met...til now... nothing is contrived
:: we are both attracted to each other... ( and look good together hehe )
:: we both look young for our age *grins*
:: we're both CRAZY for one another
:: we're both freaks... yeah! LOL
:: we just cant see each other NOT BEING together
:: we just cant let go of each other...something pulls us back
:: we love each other, seeing beyond the imperfections, and just loving as we are..... without pretentions
:: we both know we arent perfect, and we both accept that fact
:: we may have done or said things that hurt each other...but we still forgave and got past that
:: we understand each other or willing to...
:: we both want to try to work things out...when things seem hopeless
:: we can just be ourselves with each other and feel comfortable
:: sometimes we dont have to say anything ... we know what each other
is thinking or feeling
:: its like YOU are ME and I am YOU
:: we can talk about anything... from mundane things to deep spiritual things
:: we know we can satisfy each other... physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually
:: its like our bodies were meant to be
:: our minds meet
:: we both look at the same future
:: we both have the same values
:: we love and worship the same GOD
:: and we both want to serve Him....
:: we both want to make each other happy
:: you want to take care of me.... and i with you
:: we just love each other unconditionally....
:: we both know this is REAL LOVE... no matter what anyone else say
